【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardspecifiesanindextestmethodfordeterminationofthetensilepropertiesofjointsandseamsingeosynthetics,usingawide-widthstrip.Themethodisapplicabletomostgeosynthetics.Itisalsoapplicabletogeogrids,butthespecimendimensionsmayneedtobealtered.Thistestisnotapplicabletopolymericorbituminousgeosyntheticbarriers.Thismethodquantifiesthetensilestrengthofajointorseambetweengeosynthetics.Itcanprovidedatatoindicatethejointorseamtensilestrengthwhichcanbeachieved.Ajointorseamefficiencycanbecalculatedbycomparisonofthejoint/seamtensilestrengthwiththetensilestrengthoftheunjointedmaterial,asdeterminedbyISO10319.Proceduresformeasuringthetensilepropertiesofbothconditionedandwetspecimensareincluded.Somemodificationoftechniquesmaybenecessaryforparticulargeosynthetics,e.g.stronggeosynthetics,meshesorgeosyntheticsmadefromglassfibre,topreventthemfromslippinginthejawsorbeingdamagedasaresultofbeinggrippedinthejaws.Thebasictestforjointsorseamsinallkindsofgeosyntheticsusestestspecimensof200mmwidth,withtheprovisionfortheseamorjointtoextendfor25mmoneachside,inordertoprovidejointorseamstabilityduringthetest
