【摘要】:ThisEuropeanStandarddescribesamethodfortheultrasonic-testingofuncoatedflatausteniticandausteniticferriticstainlesssteelproductforinternaldiscontinuities.Itisapplicabletoflatproductinnominalthicknessrangeof6mmto200mm.Mechanised,semi-automaticorautomatictechniquesmaybeusedbutshouldbeagreedbetweenthepurchaserandthesupplier.Thisstandardalsodefines3qualityclassesfortheflatproductbody(classesSI,S,andS,)and4qualityclasses(El,E,E,E4)fortheedgesinaccordancewiththecriteriaspecifiedinclause12.Othermethodsoftesting,e.g.bytransmissiontechniqueorothertestequipmentsmaybeusedatthemanufacturer'sdiscretionprovidedthattheygiveequivalentresultstothoseobtainedundertheconditionsofthisstandard.Intheeventofadispute,onlythemethoddefinedinthisstandardprevails.Testingofflatproductofthicknesslessthan6mmmaybethesubjectofspecialagreementsbetweenthepartiesconcerned.
