【摘要】:Thiscodeofpracticegivesrecommendationsonthedesignandapplicationofflatroofswithcontinuouslysupportedroofcoverings.Itcoversweathertightness,drainage,thermaldesign,soundinsulation,condensationcontrol,structuralsupport,fireprecautions,maintenanceandrepair.Therecommendationsareapplicabletoterraces,podia,parkingdecksandgreen/gardenroofs;howevertheseparticulartypesofroofalsorequireconsiderationofadditionalfactors,beyondthescopeofthiscodeofpractice.Thiscodeofpracticeisapplicabletoroofcoveringsatapitchnotgreaterthan10°tothehorizontal.NOTEProvidedthatthedesignconditionsaresimilar,therecommendationsgiveninthiscodemayalsobeappliedtoroofswithslopesgreaterthan10°,butforsteeproofsmanyoftherecommendationsmaynotapply.Thiscodeofpracticedoesnotapplytoroofswithself-supportingcoverings,coldstoresandhightemperatureenclosures,ortoslatedortiledroofs.
