【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoverssixmechanicaltests,onecorrosionresistancetest,andtheminimumperformancerequirementsforthesetests.Thisspecificationappliestocarabinersdesignedspecificallyforusebyrescuepersonnelduringbothtrainingexercisesandactualrescueoperations.Thisspecificationdoesnotapplytorecreationalusecarabiners.1.2Twodifferenttypesofcarabinersaredefinedinthisspecification,aheavy-dutyrescuecarabinerandalight-dutyrescuecarabiner.1.3ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.1.4Testscontainedhereinaredestructiveinnature.Carabinerssubjectedtoanyofthesetestsshallnotbeusedinanywayaftertestingexceptinevaluationtheresultsofsuchtesting.1.5Thisspecificationdoesnotimplyapprovalofanymethodofuseofrescuecarabiners.Inaddition,thetestsdescribedarelaboratorytestsanddonotduplicatefieldconditions.Furthermore,thetestloadvaluescontainedhereinarenottobeinterpretedastheforceswhicharescuecarabinermaybesubjectedto,ormaybeexpectedtosustain,inactualfielduse.1.6Thisstandardmayinvolvehazardousmaterials,operations,andequipment.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
