【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardspecifiesthecharacteristicsof90mmOpticalDiskCartridges(ODC)withacapacityof650MbytesperCartridge.TheStandardspecifiesthreerelated,butdifferentimplementationsofsuchcartridges,viz.TypeR/WProvidesfordatatobewrittenandreadmanytimesovertherecordingsurfaceofthediskusingthethermo-magneticandmagneto-opticaleffects.TypeP-ROMProvidesforapartoftherecordingsurfaceofthedisktobeembossedbystampingorothermeans.Thispartofthediskisreadwithoutrecoursetothemagneto-opticaleffect.ThepartwhichisnotembossedprovidesfordatatomeettherequirementsofTypeR/W.TypeO-ROMProvidesfortherecordingsurfaceofthedisktobeembossedandreproducedbystampingorothermeans.Thistypeofdiskisreadwithoutrecoursetothemagneto-opticaleffect.TypeR/W,TypeP-ROMandType0-ROMarealsoreferredtoas"fullyrewritable","partiallyembossed"and"fullyembossed",respectively.ThisInternationalStandardspecifies-theconditionsforconformancetestingandtheReferenceDrive;-theenvironmentsinwhichthecartridgesaretobeoperatedandstored;-themechanicalandphysicalcharacteristicsofthecartridge,soastoprovidemechanicalinterchangeabilitybetweendataprocessingsystems;-theformatoftheinformationonthedisk,calledHS-1(HSstandsfor"Hyper-Storage"),includingthephysicaldispositionofthetracksandsectors,theerrorcorrectioncodes,andtherecordingmethodused;-thecharacteristicsoftheembossedinformationonthedisk;-themagneto-opticalcharacteristicsofthedisk,enablingprocessingsystemstowritedataontothedisk;-theminimumqualityofuser-writtendataonthedisk,enablingdataprocessingsystemstoreaddatafromthedisk.ThisInternationalStandardprovidesforinterchangebetweenopticaldiskdrives.Togetherwithastandardforvolumeandfilestructure,itprovidesforfulldatainterchangebetweendataprocessingsystems.
