【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoversforgedcarbonsteelpipingcomponentsforambient-andhigher-temperatureserviceinpressuresystems.Includedareflanges,fittings,valves,andsimilarpartsorderedeithertodimensionsspecifiedbythepurchaserortodimensionalstandardssuchastheMSS,ASME,andAPIspecificationsreferencedinSection2.Forgingsmadetothisspecificationarelimitedtoamaximumweightof10000lb[4540kg].LargerforgingsmaybeorderedtoSpecificationA266/A266M.Tubesheetsandhollowcylindricalforgingsforpressurevesselshellsarenotincludedwithinthescopeofthisspecification.Althoughthisspecificationcoverssomepipingcomponentsmachinedfromrolledbarandseamlesstubularproducts(see4.2),itdoesnotcoverrawmaterialproducedintheseproductforms.1.2Supplementaryrequirementsareprovidedforusewhenadditionaltestingorinspectionisdesired.Theseshallapplyonlywhenspecifiedindividuallybythepurchaserintheorder.1.3SpecificationA266/A266McoversothersteelforgingsandSpecificationsA675/A675MandA696coverothersteelbars.1.4Thisspecificationisexpressedinbothinch-poundunitsandSIunits.However,unlesstheorderspecifiestheapplicablex201C;Mx201D;specificationdesignation(SIunits),thematerialshallbefurnishedtoinch-poundunits.ThevaluesstatedineitherSIunitsorinch-poundunitsaretoberegardedseparatelyasstandard.Thevaluesstatedineachsystemmaynotbeexactequivalents;therefore,eachsystemshallbeusedindependentlyoftheother.Combiningvaluesfromthetwosystemsmayresultinnon-conformancewiththestandard.1.5ThevaluesstatedineitherSIunitsorinch-poundunitsaretoberegardedseparatelyasstandard.Withinthetext,theSIunitsareshowninbrackets.Thevaluesstatedineachsystemmaynotbeexactequivalents;therefore,eachsystemshallbeusedindependentlyoftheother.Combiningvaluesfromthetwosystemsmayresultinnon-conformancewiththestandard.Note18212;ThedimensionlessdesignatorNPS(nominalpipesize)hasbeensubstitutedinthisstandardforsuchtraditionaltermsasx201C;nominaldiameter,x201D;x201C;size,x201D;andx201C;nominalsize.x201D;
